Hogwarts Legacy June New Update Patch Notes
Though the bulk of Hogwarts Legacy players has most likely completed their initial session by now, the creators have just issued a huge patch that tries to fix some of the game's major difficulties.
Despite its release in a crowded year, Avalanche's open-world Harry Potter title established itself as a legitimate contender for Game of the Year, giving an immersive experience in the Wizarding World as well as electrifying action.
However, the game was released with a number of performance concerns, and while Avalanche Software was fast to address the biggest issues, the delay of Hogwarts Legacy's Switch port reflects the inherent challenge in optimizing such a large project.
It is admirable that Avalanche has put any work on DLCs for the game on hold in order to ensure that Hogwarts Legacy launches smoothly on all platforms, and the June patch should assist finalize the studio's efforts for the PS4 and Xbox One consoles.
The fix, which was announced on Twitter by the official Hogwarts Legacy account, went live instantly, and users can download it for their preferred platform at their earliest leisure. The patch notes detailing the modifications made in the new build were appended to the tweet, and they largely address stability improvements and gameplay issues carried over from previous patches.

For example, a significant continuity fix addressed in the June update is NPCs and the player character inadvertently using generic wands in some cutscenes. Another significant improvement is the mission tracking in Hogwarts Legacy, as well as the removal of the ability to reload a save in front of a collecting chest to double their reward.
Fans will now have to obtain artefacts in Hogwarts Legacy in an old-fashioned manner, regardless of how handy the glitch was. Given how large the playable region is in Avalanche's Wizarding globe title, as well as how useful the globe map is in pointing in the proper way, completing the Field Guide in Hogwarts Legacy shouldn't be a problem.
